Charles River Community Health is pleased to announce that James (Carlise) Magee joined on June 17 us as our new Chief Financial Officer. James grew up in Central Massachusetts and graduated with degrees in accounting and resource economics from UMass Amherst. James also holds a certified public accountant (CPA) license. He served as an auditor for Federally Qualified Health Centers (including CRCH) at AAFCPAs; led the accounting function at a $65M manufacturing firm while his wife Toni went to Physician Assistant school; and worked for the past 5 years at as Director of Finance at Community Care Cooperative, an organization that grew from $40M to $120M in revenue during the period. James is an avid bike rider and serves as Assistant Treasurer on the Board at Bikes Not Bombs in Jamaica Plain. James and Toni live in Dorchester with two rabbits and three guinea pigs.
