Matt Mullaney

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Matt Mullaney brings wide-ranging experience in healthcare to his role at Charles River Community Health, most recently serving as a founding executive, CFO, and division President for Community Care Cooperative, Inc. (C3), a network of non-profit health centers (FQHCs). His prior experience includes work in venture capital, consulting, a health plan (Harvard Pilgrim), and a multi-state family caregiving services provider (Careforth). Matt’s family experience with sickness and health animates his work to improve access and quality of care. Matt earned his BA from Harvard College and MBA from MIT Sloan. Originally from Boise, Idaho, Matt lived in Somerville and Quincy before settling in Needham, Massachusetts where he lives with his partner, three teenage kids, and dog Poppy.

Klavdia Brisson, DNP, FNP-BC

CHIEF CLINICAL OFFICER

Klavida Brisson, DNP, FNP-BC joined Charles River Community Health in 2023 with nearly 10 years of experience as a primary care provider and 6 years of clinical leadership experience. Prior to joining us as Medical Director at our Brighton site, Klavdia served in provider and leadership roles at community health centers in Massachusetts and New Jersey and also has experience leading a Nurse Practitioner residency program.  Klavdia was promoted to the role of Chief Clinical Officer in January, 2024.

Klavdia earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Massachusetts. Klavdia is fluent in French, French-Creole and Spanish.

James Magee

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

James Magee joined CRCH as our Chief Financial Officer in June, 2025.  At CRCH, James has responsibility for the Finance department including revenue cycle, accounting, and grants management functions.  Prior to his role at CRCH, James served as an auditor for Federally Qualified Health Centers (including CRCH) at AAFCPAs; led the accounting function at a $65M manufacturing firm while his wife Toni went to Physician Assistant school; and worked for the past 5 years at as Director of Finance at Community Care Cooperative, an organization that grew from $40M to $120M in revenue during the period. 

James grew up in Central Massachusetts and graduated with degrees in accounting and resource economics from UMass Amherst.  James also holds a certified public accountant (CPA) license.  He is an avid bike rider and serves as Assistant Treasurer on the Board at Bikes Not Bombs in Jamaica Plain.   James and Toni live in Dorchester with two rabbits and three guinea pigs.
