Brighton Expansion Nears Completion

We are pleased to report that the Brighton medical department expansion is almost complete! The finishing touches are expected to be completed before the end of the month by laying the last pieces of flooring and installing the new exam tables.

Next up come the inspections from the Department of Public Health after which we should be able to begin using the new space. When the project is complete, we will have 7 more medical exam rooms and a new nurse station to help us see more patients and provide more access to care for our community. This expansion will add capacity for more than 5,000 new medical visits per year and the addition of a residency program. We will also be adding two more dental operatories bringing the total to 12 in Brighton. And we are actively recruiting for several new providers to work in the space after it is complete. If you know someone who would be a good addition to our team, please let us know!

We’re thankful for the generous support we’ve received from several sources to help us fund this expansion project, including an appropriation of $850,000 from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a gift of $250,000 from our long time partners at Beth Israel Lahey Health and from several supportive individuals in our community.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our work, our patients and our staff!
