Jose Paz, MSW, believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths. Jose has worked with children, young adults, individual and families in different settings using an eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Jose is a bilingual and bi-cultural therapist, who brings many years of experience in community mental health. Jose provides an environment of kindness and support to help individuals and families overcome problems to move forward and thrive. Jose graduated from Boston College with a Graduate Degree in Social Work and an Undergraduate Degree in Sociology and Communications from UMASS, Boston. Jose continues to seek more opportunities to gain more skills to broaden his education. Most recently, Jose was accepted in the Addictions Counselor Education Program at UMASS, Boston, to be credentialed as a substance abuse counselor (LADC/CADAC) in order to help people in the community by raising awareness of substance use and promoting a culture of recovery. Jose Paz joined Charles River Community Health as a Behavioral Health Clinician in December 2016.
