CRCH receives grant to hire substance abuse clinician

Charles River Community Health is receiving a grant from the federal government to increase our capacity to provide substance abuse and mental health services – Health Resources and Services Administration awarded $6,446,826 in grants to 38 health centers in Massachusetts, in order to increase access to substance abuse and mental health services. The grant gives CRCH the opportunity to hire a substance abuse clinician who will work with a patient’s primary care provider to treat the patient as a whole and not just the addiction, while also reducing stigma.
